As part of our inquiry into 'Me and My Place', we have been learning all about one another and are starting to appreciate what a neat, diverse bunch of people we are in B5. We all look a little different, come from different families and cultures, and like different things.

We spent some time admiring ourselves in the mirror and then created some awesome individual portraits.  First we used a pencil to draw an outline, filled it in with coloured dye (waiting for each colour to dry in between) and then went over the outline in black marker.  Lastly we used a jovi to colour in our eyes and our lips.

We think our portraits look great - check them out next time you are in our classroom.

Our fabulous portraits hanging in our classroom - can you spot yours?

  1. What great artists you have in your classroom. You can all be very proud of your work. I am looking forward to reading more blog posts about 'you and your place'
