ANZAC Day...

Today the senior students marked ANZAC day with the installation of 30 crosses on our school field.  Each cross represents someone locally who fell in World War One. It was a bit scary to see the crosses on the field and we talked about how each one was to remind us of someone special and that they were not grave markers.  It is a very special place in our school ...


We made poppies with our A7 buddies.  We used a small cupcake wrapper and a large cupcake wrapper and joined them together with a black coloured split pin, attached to a green straw.  Aren't they gorgeous?  They are going home with our students today with a special ANZAC poem...
