What's Out There?

Our aspiring astronomers were tasked with an oral language project - to choose a planet and present what they know about it to the class, along with a model or similar.  Look at what they came up with and have brought into class this week to share ...

I am very proud of the effort everyone made and the confidence that they showed presenting their project.  Every one of our Super-Duper B5 students completed their presentations. Thank you to our awesome families for helping and supporting them all.

We have really enjoyed our Inquiry into the Solar System this term.  As we spend the next week reflecting on what we wanted to know and what we've learnt, our exploration into space comes to a close.

Today we used the laptops and KidPix to make solar system illustrations to accompany some of our amazing Solar System writing.  Here are just a few examples of our stories. You can read them all and see our KidPix illustrations in the class book we've made, in our library corner.
